Inaugural Gingerbread House Challenge a Sweet Success!

We hosted our first Gingerbread House Challenge in December 2024. Five teams representing local businesses and organizations competed to display their holiday spirit and creativity by constructing a gingerbread house with the theme "Hometown Holidays." Entries competed online and at a reception to see which team would be crowned the Gingerbread Champions. Every $1 donation from our community counted as one vote towards each entry.

​Community members were invited to join the fun by voting online for their favorite entries and at the Gingerbread House Reception & Award hosted at the Village at Woods Edge. Thank you to everyone that voted/donated for your favorite entry!

In addition to the overall Gingerbread Champion chosen by donors, a panel of judges chose five additional awards. Congratulations to our 2024 United Way Gingerbread House Challenge Winners:
